George Margarson has been training racehorses at Graham Lodge in Newmarket since 2000, and has achieved much success and many top winners for our owners.

Graham Lodge Stables is located on Birdcage Walk minutes from the entrance to the famous Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket, Suffolk giving excellent access to the best racehorse turf gallops in the World. Our yard is special; a friendly informal family atmosphere with professional and dedicated staff combined with George Margarson’s unique ”hands-on’ approach.

There are numerous ways to get involved in ownership at the Margarson yard including Sole Ownership, Partnership and Syndicates. Owning a racehorse is a thrill in itself but the excitement of having a winner is unbeatable.

A happy and sad day for the team as the beloved Spirited Guest aka Jimmy retired and headed to his new home with Becca. A star for our team as a 7 time winner with his best performance under Rosie at Ascot on King George day.
